From St. Louis to Tacoma: Teatro Milagro is on the Move

Just back from Missouri for a Duende double header. We had flown into St. Louis and got there rather late, but made it down to the famous St. Louis Arch, and create a little Milagro Arch in the Moonlight moment. Back in the office today, a moment was all I had to type up the wonderful feedback from our two performances in Missouri, one at UM St. Louis, and the other at UM Columbia, otherwise known as Mizzou.  Here are some of the comments:

The performers were wonderful
It was fabulous – the masks, the costumes, the movement.
Excellent use of theatricality

Meanwhile – back at the ranch that is the (re)writing of B’aktun 13 …  A small setback involving a change in casting means a need to regroup and think about how a new voice may affect the dynamics of the interchanges among characters. So script writing is on hold until the new actor is found. As they say: Onward and upward — this time to Tacoma, Washington, where we’re headed tonight for another presentation of Duende de Lorca.
