Milagro
is delighted tocollaborate with Boom Arts and OntheBoards.tv to present the
Portland premiere of Amarillo, the film!

The
hopes and despair of migrants attempting to cross the border, like the people
who’ve arrived at Las Palmas nightclub in Dance for a Dollar, are presented
with the use of contemporary visual and multimedia theatre in Amarillo,
creating a provocative piece that has toured around the world, resonating with
audiences of all languages and backgrounds.

On
May 22nd the screening will be enlivened by a conversation with Amalia
Gladhart, Professor of Spanish and Head of the Department of Romance Languages
at the University of Oregon.
