Last month the play FRIDA, un retablo toured down to
Southern Oregon as part of a residency funded by the Cow Creek Umpqua
Foundation, Juan Young Trust, Carpenter Foundation, Oregon Arts Commission, and
the Thorndike Family. Nothing like having many helping hands to make free
community arts available for all! The next community collaboration will
be in Longview Washington. Mark Morris High School Spanish Club and the
RA Long Multicultural Club are teaming up to bring FRIDA, un retablo to Longview.
There will be a workshop for theatre and Spanish language students in the
afternoon, then a public performance of the play at 7 pm in the evening. For
