Win-Win: Give $10 to Milagro; Eat $10 at Montage

And now, a special word from Emily …

Hello lovely Milagro supporters and friends! Just writin’ to give you an update on how things are going with our participation in this year’s Willamette Week Give!Guide. We are now 13 days in and have received $395 in donations! Not too shabby. That’s money that goes beyond what you see onstage, from theatre and dance residencies in schools to activities with social service groups in our community, from the creation of an art installation representing Frida Kahlo’s Blue House to upgrade the theatre’s sound system (which has seen its better days). With your support, the possibilities are endless…

In case you haven’t heard, Give!Guide is an awesome way that Willamette Week encourages its readers to support a variety of amazing nonprofit organizations in Portland. The idea is to encourage younger folks to start the tradition of annual giving amid an array of undeniably great incentives from such places as Salt & Straw, Stumptown and Music Millennium. Additionally, each organization has its own ways of enticing friends, family, patrons and philanthropically-minded folks. Milagro’s business partner, Le Bistro Montage, has gone above and beyond, giving Miracle $10 gift certificates to give to each of the first 100 donors, and two $50 gift cards to be raffled off.

LE BISTRO MONTAGE

So, allow me to lay this out in the simplest way possible:  If you donate to Milagro through the Willamette Week Give!Guide (the minimum donation is just ten bucks), you will receive a $10 gift certificate to go toward delicious food and drinks at Montage. So, come on! It’s a win-win!

Make a donation today! It’s easy! Just go to www.wweek.com/giveguide. Click on DONATE NOW and enter an amount next to Miracle Theatre Group. Complete the check-out process and pat yourself on the back  — you’ve just helped insure the continuing creation of Latino art and culture experiences that are entertaining, accessible, vibrant and, above all, heartfelt!

The theatre also welcomes in-kind donations of printing services; catering for events; landscaping services; office and janitorial supplies; sound and lighting equipment; construction materials for set building; new computers, laptops or tablets; new Office and Adobe software; or costumes that are unique or traditionally Latino.  For more information about the Miracle Theatre Group, visit www.milagro.org or call 503-236-7253.
