Latina author and performance artist Michele Carlo to visit Portland May 5

New York Latina author and performance artist Michele Carlo will present the world premiere of her new solo piece adapted from her book Fish Out of Agua, along with 14 Portland performers at Singlehandedly! This annual event is produced by Portland Story Theater and 2012 is the fourth year they are presenting the new works solo festival. The festival runs from April 27 – May 11, 2012 at Hipbone Studio.

Singlehandedly! is funded in part by a generous project grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council. All festival activities will take place on Fridays and Saturdays, April 27, 28, May 4, 5, and 11 at 8:00 pm. Hipbone Studio is located at 1847 East Burnside, Portland, OR 97214. Tickets for the event may be purchased on-line at www.portlandstorytheater.com. Tickets are $15 advance/$20 day of show. 5-Night Passes are also available for $60. All shows are 18+ only.
