Donations to Work for Art’s Community Fund and Arts Education Fund support more than 80 vital arts and culture organizations every year — encompassing dance, visual arts, music, literary arts, media arts, theater, cultural arts, and arts education. Work for Art raises these funds primarily through employee charitable campaigns at workplaces in Oregon and Southwest Washington. A rigorous grant process directs funds to where they will be most useful and assures that every dollar donated makes a valuable impact on the community as a whole. All nonprofit arts organizations based in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington County are eligible to apply for these grants, and Miracle Theatre Group has been fortunate to receive support from Work for Art for several years.

What’s more is that the Work for Art program can double the impact of your gift. Several public and private partners have pooled resources to create a Matching Challenge Fund, which supports the community’s arts and culture organizations through Work for Art.
