local talent, hosting international artists and musicians, and producing the
work of emerging and renowned Latino playwrights, are outstanding examples of
Milagro’s miraculous work. In 1984, José Eduardo González and Dañel Malán
founded Milagro (Miracle Theatre Group), and today, you are cordially invited
to help us celebrate our 30th birthday.
is limited by neither language nor culture, and through the years, Milagro has
gained a formidable reputation for producing bold, compelling, and culturally
relevant shows – such as our current production, Learn to be Latina! From
Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights to Drammy award-winning productions, Milagro
goes out of its way to surprise, challenge, engage and push the dramatic
envelope. Its home, El Centro Milagro has become a community center, an oasis
of Latino culture, opening its doors as a stage, studio, and even a classroom.
Milagro extends across the city and the nation, captivating, engaging, and
inspiring audiences through their signature, authentic works of Latino art
& culture that leave you with a deeper understanding of human nature.
