Meet the Muertos: Alberto Romero

Meet the Muertos: Alberto Romero

As we move closer and closer to opening night for ¡Viva la Revolución!, our Day of the Dead celebration, Olga has been sharing insight to the development process of this original work. On her team of collaborators are multi-threat talents of actors, singers, dancers and all around creative heads, and we’d like to use this blog to introduce you to this year’s muertos, beginning with Alberto Romero (watch for more actor profiles every week).

Alberto is a Portland-based actor who performs in both English and Spanish. Over years he has performed in various productions on the Milagro stage, including Entre Villa y una mujer desnuda (Between Pancho Villa and a Naked Women), La Pastorela and a staged reading for Internacional Womens Day. Currently he is touring a school show with Oregon Children’s Theatre. He also has done various commercials for community business with Univision.  Alberto is also a host of a radio show that streams live on the Internet every weekend.
